1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SlickEnv ("the Service"), operated by SlickSpender ("the Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SlickEnv is a CLI-first tool for managing, syncing, versioning, and sharing environment variables across teams, projects, and environments. The Service includes the SlickEnv CLI application, the SlickEnv API, and the slickenv.dev website.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by authenticating with a supported OAuth provider (GitHub or Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Store content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or harmful
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you store in SlickEnv, including environment variables, metadata, and version history. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. You grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

7. Pricing and Payment

The Solo plan is free. Paid plans (Team, Business, Enterprise) are billed according to the pricing published on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Changes do not affect the current billing period.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your data remains accessible for 30 days. After this period, all data is permanently deleted. You can export your data at any time via the CLI before cancellation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlickEnv shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Entity

SlickEnv is a product of SlickSpender. All legal obligations, liabilities, and rights described in these terms are held by SlickSpender on behalf of the SlickEnv product.
